My name is David Abel II. I am currently a "Junior" at Bethany College, but reside in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
At Bethany, I am a member of the varsity football team and have been for the past two seasons. This is my third and I
am ready for one more. I am a Sports Comm major and plan to graduate in the Spring of 2010. I've worked with our SID (sports
information director) and helped with softball in my two years here. I am also a member of the "" Club.
I graduated
from Philllipsburg High School in Phillipsburg, NJ in the Spring of 2006. During High School I played 4 years of football
and 4 years of Ice Hockey. My senior year of football my teammates and I won the Group 4 state title. I was also awarded the
Scholar Athlete of my football team and a finalist for the best student-athlete in the Lehigh Valley.
As I said I reside in Phillipsburg, NJ which is roughly 60 miles west of NYC as well as 60 miles north of Philadelphia.
Both are large markets and I would love to work in either city. As of now I work across the river in Easton, PA where I have
been employed at ESPN Radio, 1230/1320 WEEX. I have a great time and love my job.
Some more about me: I am an avid sports fan and love to snowboard come winter months. I like computers and work with
them and applications fairly well. My friends and family also play a big role in my life
